Happy Beltaine!

This is a photo I took one day while walking along the Manuels River.

A Beltaine Song

The hillside's lit with fires burning,
The pole bedecked with ribbons curling,
The lass' eye has turned to yearning,
For Beltaine has come 'round again.

The folk have turned out Winter's ration,
The songs are sung with deepened passion,
The dance goes sunise full of crashin',
For Beltaine has come 'round again!

Drink and sing to the coming summer,
Cast your eye toward a roving lover,
Don't take him home to meet your mother,
For Beltaine has come 'round again.
