A Study in Texture!

Today's painting is a study in texture. I love textured abstract paintings so much and I have so much fun when I do them. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Copper Spiral Bracelet!

After pulling weeds for most of the morning, I was finally driven inside when I could no longer stand the vicious attack of the black flies. I retreated to my quiet studio and made this cool copper spiral bracelet. Available for sale in my Etsy shop.

Sea Glass Pendant!

This lovey pendant was made with a piece of sea glass I found on a beach in Heart's Delight. I loved the shape of it and decided to wrap it in steel wire with a spiral as the focal point. I tumble polished the pendant until the wire work was shiny and beautiful.

Pretty Bracelet!

This pretty bracelet was made from faceted glass pieces from a chandelier I found at the local thrift store. The spiral links and hook and clasp are hand formed from oxidized copper wire. This would look great on any wrist. Available for sale in my Etsy shop.

New Jewelry!

I spent all day yesterday in my studio making jewelry. This beautiful birds nest bracelet was made with creamy pearls and oxidized copper wire. The components are hand crafted by me, as well.

The tutorial I wrote for the magazine, Artisan Jewelry Times, has been published in the June issue. As well, they asked if I would like to be their feature artist for the month of October. That means that I will be interviewed and my work will be on the cover. It's all very exciting for me! :)

The weather was beautiful here this weekend and I enjoyed it fully. Hikes with good friends and delicious beverages afterwards and people watching. Eating out at the hip new restaurant in town and liking the food very much! Sitting in the sun in the mornings and writing in my journal while listening to the owl hooting nearby.

I have so much to be grateful for. I am blessed!
