I've been thinking about your comment on my post, then I saw your newest, and thought of the concept of "simple line art".
in a way, because of the details of the frame, more details inside or outside would be an overkill.
and seeing your jewelry, they're all linear forming geometric forms then stops there. they simply hang. they are pulchritudinous, brilliant pieces by themselves, but are reduced to simpler fractions once put on, diverting the beauty from the pieces to the wearer.
and so i concluded that in everything, even in mere doodle, there has to be function. simple lines are doodle by themselves, but they have to lend that 'doodleness' to baost a different function. Like your jewelry.
i maybe overanalyzing things, but thanks for suggesting. it helped me a lot. :)
