Both pairs of earrings are made with steel wire. The spiral earrings were treated with heat to create a lovely bronze color. The hoops were not treated with heat. Depending upon the temperature you use you can achieve different colors -- black, brown, blue, gold.

I love the way the earrings look with your new blog colour combination. I bet no one else will make a comment like that! The image you have a the top of the blog is just perfect. Whenever I open your blog now it gives me such a lift. There's nothing like black and white.
