I love crows and this image that I took of a crow outside my bedroom window has been a constant in my work for months. I used the tape transfer method to create a transparent image which I then adhered to the surface using a matte medium.
To me your card looks like a reflection a crow would cast into a deep blue pond or a smooth stone with the image of the crow fossilized onto it. Thanks for the images kt
I love your atc-the sublety of the crow is beautiful. Just as I am writing this crows are cawing outside my window. Thanks for the kind comment on my atc post. It prompted me to explore your blog-which I really enjoyed. Your Random Passage photos are amazing-I'd love to take a walk there. Thanks again for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThis is great! Love the transfer..haven't ever tried that but it looks interesting enough to try...Love the blue and black contrast!!

ReplyDeleteooooh...this dense blue is deep enough to swim in...and the way you shaded it, it has huge dimension...love this card!
ReplyDeleteGreat how you were able to achieve those intense blue shades so well and that wonderful scratchy texture. Love this, very Poe-ish.
ReplyDeleteSmall artwork, very nice.

I'm cranky with the crows in my garden at the moment (theyre trying to eat the possums) but this makes me feel a little warmer to them. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteThis has such lovely depth and drama! Beautiful ATC.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the images throughout your blog; very dark and moody
